About the Lovenest
Have you visited Tagaytay before? It’s Manila’s version of a Hill Station, which means a place to escape the heat and the crowds of the big city. It’s about 1 ½ hours drive along the Aguinaldo Highway, which means it’s a lot closer to Manila than going to Baguio.
So are you looking for a quiet, clean and comfortable place to spend a few days or a week or so? Much as the family are nice and the malls are fun, are you craving a bit of quiet, one-on-one time? How about condo unit in a nice and modern building in Tagaytay? One owned and managed by Aussie expats?
Tagaytay is 634 metres above sea level, so it’s nice and cool and the air is clean. It’s known for its great restaurants, coffee shops, great views and for being a fairly safe place. It’s up on a ridge overlooking Taal Lake (pronounced “tah-ahl”) and the Taal volcano, where the clouds are often at roadside level. Averages about 4°C cooler than Manila.
It’s at the end of the Aguinaldo Highway, which joins onto the Manila Coastal Road, or you can get to it via the SLEX. A refreshing break from Manila.
